Ideas for April
- Weeding and Clearing: Get your beds and pots in good shape for the spring and summer. This helps plants grow as well as improving the look of your garden.
- Try setting up a seed swap in your area. You might not want to meet face to face, but you could find somewhere where people can deposit or pick up unwanted seeds.
- Use social media to follow bloggers and gardeners for tips. I would recommend looking for Jack Wellington, Suzanne Moss and Miranda Janatka on Twitter for practical advice, and there are many others out there.
- Buy yourself a diary and notebook and plan your time in the garden for the coming months. Try to make it part of your routine, and also try to think in advance about the tasks you may need to do, such as sowing, weeding, watering etc.
